Cheesy Ham Toast with Melon Salad
A quick and satisfying dinner featuring cheesy ham toast paired with a refreshing melon salad.
Ingredients
- 4 slices toast
- 4 slices šunka (ham)
- 4 slices sýr (cheese)
- 100g hermelín (soft cheese), optional for extra creaminess
- 200g meloun (melon), diced
- 1 tablespoon maslo (butter)
- sůl (salt) to taste
- pepr (pepper) to taste
Steps
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each toast slice.
- Place two slices of toast butter-side down in the skillet.
- Layer each with two slices of ham and cheese, then top with another slice of toast, butter-side up.
- Cook until golden brown and cheese melts, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine diced melon with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the toast is done, serve immediately with the melon salad on the side.
