Coconut Povitica with Yogurt Drizzle
Delight in a warm, flaky pastry filled with sweet jam and coconut, topped with creamy yogurt.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet listové těsto (puff pastry)
- 1/2 cup povidla (fruit jam)
- 1/3 cup kokos (shredded coconut)
- 2 tbsp med (honey)
- 1/2 cup řecky jogurt (Greek yogurt)
- 1/4 tsp chilli (optional for a kick)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out the listové těsto on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Spread the povidla evenly over the pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the kokos over the jam layer, and drizzle med on top for added sweetness.
- Optionally, sprinkle some chilli for a little heat.
- Roll the pastry tightly to form a log, sealing the edges well.
- Place the rolled pastry on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While it bakes, mix the řecky jogurt with a bit of med for a sweet drizzle.
- Once baked, let it cool slightly, then slice and serve with the yogurt drizzle.
This dessert is budget-friendly, using common ingredients you already have.
Cleanup is quick with just a baking sheet and mixing bowl to wash.
All ingredients are used effectively, minimizing waste.
